Healing Herbs You Can Smoke

Most of us have first-hand experience with the benefits the body, mind, and soul each receive from the inhalation of sweet cannabis. In fact, studies show that cannabis acts as a bronchodilator, opening the airway passages and aiding in respiratory health.

But quite a few plants may be safely, and pleasurable, lit up in a pipe or rolling papers. Those listed below are legal, unregulated, and safe to use. They are also non-hallucinogenic and non-addictive.

While they won’t get you high, when blended according to the instructions below, these herbs produce a smooth, tasty smoke and give a gentle, relaxing buzz.

While scores of herbs are smokable, those listed below are among the most commonly used and easily grown at home.

That being said, smoking of any kind may increase carbon dioxide intake and can be detrimental to your health. Smoking should be avoided by anyone who is pregnant or nursing. See our full disclaimer for details.

How much do I use?

That’s the great thing about smoking herbs - it’s so personal. Everybody’s preferences and tolerances are different, and we want you to find the mix that’s perfect for you. You might find that a mix of 90% smoking herbs / 10% weed is the right amount for you. If your tolerance is higher, or you’re sharing the joint with friends, you may want to try 50/50. Rolling with smoking herbs isn’t a science, it’s an art. Feel free to get loose with it.

will herbal smoke get me high?

No. These herbs are non-psychoactive.

How should I smoke herbs?

Our herbal smoking blends are milled to be smoked in a joint, pipe, or bong. You can vape our blends, but since each herb has a different combustion point, you may not get the most out of them.

How long will my herbal smoking blends stay fresh and how should I store them?

Our herbal blends have a long shelf life but for maximum freshness we recommend you use them within a year. To keep your blends at their freshest, always store them in a cool, dry place and keep them well sealed.

Will my blends expire?

No, herbs don’t expire but they do loose freshness over time. This is why we recommend using your blends within 6 months. For tips on how to store them, see above.

Are your herbal smoking blends organic?

Almost all of our ingredients are organic and we strive to use organic herbs whenever possible. If an ingredient is not certified organic, it is always cultivated without chemicals or is sustainably wild-crafted.
