I’m the lightest of all the pet CBD tinctures, which makes me the most appropriate for all the little furry creatures out there. I’m perfect for smaller kitties and smaller breed dogs, as well as other small creatures like ferrets (double check with your vet before using CBD with exotic or unusual creatures). With 250mg, I’ve got quite a few doses in me but I’m not overpoweringly strong — so there’s less chance of accidentally giving your furry companion too much. I’m best used for stressed pets, those with pain and inflammation, and those who experience seizures or other chronic health conditions. Check out our pet dosage guide for more information on how to safely dose your pet.
How to use
When: Depending on the nature of the ailment. If your pet suffers from anxiety, you may wish to give it to them on stressful days or before a stressful event like moving, going to the vet, or a night you know that fireworks are on. If your pet suffers from seizures, it may be used preventatively in small doses everyday. Consult a pet before diagnosing or giving your pet CBD.
How much: A typical rule of thumb is to start with 1-2mg CBD per 4kg weight. Give 4-8 drops of CBD Relief Tincture to a pet below 2.5kg and wait at least 30 minutes to observe effects. A 20kg (large) dog can safely receive 5-10mg CBD (0.6-1.2ml CBD Nurture Tincture) depending on the severity of the problem.
What for: Some common problems include seizures, pain, inflammation, anxiety, restlessness, arthritis, vomiting, age-related problems.
